Setting up Constant Contact

How does the Squeeze Page Toolkit work with Constant Contact?

Once the toolkit has access to your Constant Contact account, it will automatically fetch the Contact Collections you’ve created in Constant Contact.

When you create a squeeze page with the toolkit, the opt-in form is a representation of your Contact Collection, so any data that’s entered by a visitor will be automatically sent to Constant Contact into that Contact Collection.

This allows you to set up autoresponder campaigns for that Contact Collection in Constant Contact, allowing you to control what happens with that visitors details.

How do I set up Constant Contact with the toolkit?

  1. Authorise the toolkit to access your Constant Contact account, which allows the toolkit to talk to Constant Contact automatically.
  2. Create an ActionSet, which is where you choose which Contact Collection you want the squeeze page to send your visitor’s details.

Then you can create a squeeze page in the usual way. When you add an opt-in form, choose which ActionSet you want to use for that opt-in form.

1) Authorising the toolkit with your Constant Contact account

a) Go to the toolkit integration page for Constant Contact, and click on the button that says ‘Connect to Constant Contact’

b) Sign into your Constant Contact account, and click on the ‘Allow’ button.

c) That’s it, the toolkit can now access your Constant Contact account!

2) Creating an ActionSet for a Contact Collection in Constant Contact

a) Specify a name for the ActionSet, this can be anything you like.

b) Choose the Constant Contact integration, and then choose which Contact Collection you want to send the visitor’s data to.
