How does the Squeeze Page Toolkit work with Campaign Monitor?
Once the toolkit has access to your Campaign Monitor account, it will automatically fetch the List of Clients you have and your Subscriber Lists that you’ve created in Campaign Monitor.
(Campaign Monitor allows you to have several clients in your account. If you just have your own account, then this also works).
When you create a squeeze page with the toolkit, the opt-in form creates a form that will send the details your selected Subscriber List. So when a user enters their details, they are subscribed to the list that you choose.
How do I set up Campaign Monitor with the toolkit?
- Authorise the toolkit to access your Campaign Monitor account, which allows the toolkit to talk to Campaign Monitor automatically.
- Create an ActionSet, which is where you choose which Client and Subscriber List you want the squeeze page to send your visitor’s details.
Then you can create a squeeze page in the usual way. When you add an opt-in form, choose which ActionSet you want to use for that opt-in form.
1) Authorising the toolkit with your Campaign Monitor account
a) Go to the toolkit integration page for Campaign Monitor, and click on the button that says ‘Connect to Campaign Monitor’
b) Sign into your Campaign Monitor account, and click on the ‘Allow Access’ button.
c) That’s it, the toolkit can now access your Campaign Monitor account!
2) Creating an ActionSet for an Campaign Monitor Subscriber List
a) Specify a name for the ActionSet, this can be anything you like.
b) Choose the Campaign Monitor integration, and then choose which client you want to use (which might just be your business).
c) Then choose which Subscriber List you want to send the visitor’s data to (each client has a different collection of Subscriber Lists).
d) Then click ‘ Save Details‘.
